1. Scientists from Siberia have created a biosensor for testing food safety. Employees of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Siberian Federal University used the enzymes of luminous bacteria in the basis of the biosensor. Luminescence sensors can detect heavy metals and pesticides in products, focusing on the maximum permissible concentration level.

2. The first phase of clinical trials of a new radiopharmaceutical based on the radioactive isotope technetium-99m has been completed in Tomsk. He is sensitive to two types of cancer at once - breast and prostate. After the completion of the next stage of clinical trials, the drug is planned to be modified into a therapeutic one.

3. At the meeting of the technical management on the testing of the spacecraft head of the multipurpose laboratory module ‘Nauka’, held at the Baikonur cosmodrome, it was decided to admit the module to refueling operations. After completion of the refueling operations, the module will be delivered to the universal technical complex of site No. 92 for docking with the third stage of the Proton-M launch vehicle. The launch of the module is scheduled for July 15.
