1. Aerotruck, a resident of the Skolkovo Foundation(VEB.RF Group), announced the start of sales of aerodynamic skirts in France. They reduce fuel consumption, reduce harmful emissions and improve the safety of your cargo transportation.

2. A robotic arm with tactile feedback, which can be used both in space and at great depths, was presented at the thematic exhibition ‘Innovation Day of the Russian Defense Ministry’ in the Era technopolis. The development is designed to perform complex spatial operations with high accuracy and speed.

3. Scientists from the Institute of Solid State Chemistry of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the NTI Competence Center ‘New and Mobile Energy Sources’ at the Institute of Chemical Physics Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences have proposed a new version of the membrane for lithium-ion and lithium-sulfur batteries. The study of the properties of this Li-Nafion membrane has shown the promise of its real application.

4. Researchers from Russia, the United States and Ukraine have carried out a large-scale analysis of scientific works on the use of cerium-containing polymer composites in medicine. Scientists have come to the conclusion that the next ten years will give rise to the massive use of cerium oxide and materials based on it in biomedical practice.

5. Employees of the Institute of Biology and Biomedicine, N.N. N.I. Lobachevsky and Ghent University(Belgium) under the guidance of prof. Dmitry Krysko is conducting research into the possibility of activating immunogenic cell death during photodynamic antitumor therapy(PDT). PDT is included in the list of minimally invasive and low toxicity methods for treating several types of cancer, during which specific agents(photosensitizers) are introduced into the body, accumulating in the tumor and forming toxic compounds under the action of visible light irradiation, thereby causing its death.
