Korea-Russia Science and Technology Cooperation Center strives to provide timely and up-to-date Russian science and technology information and to cooperate with both countries in science and technology.

As part of this effort, we publish weekly science and technology trends on science, technology and innovation in Russia.

• Rosatom begun testing the first facility of the energy complex with a closed nuclear fuel cycle
•  Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences will spend 20 billion rubles on designing an electron-positron collider
• “Resurs-P” № 4 Earth remote sensing satellite for high-detail photography has been put into orbit

Technology trends

• Development of hybrid communication networks in Russia
• Rosatom has received new orders for floating nuclear power plants: construction of at least two power units in Primorye by 2030, conclusion of 15 additional contracts
• Rosatom plans to launch a hydrogen plant on Sakhalin by 2029
