- Parallel import of computer equipment may be banned from the new year
Kirill Menshov, Senior Vice President for IT at Rostelecom, said that “Russian technologies are becoming more and more accessible” and parallel imports of computing equipment may be banned from 2024. Possible consequences are rising prices and “gray” imports.

- Russian scientists have developed a universal contrast agent that can be used for several types of diagnostic tests at once
A universal contrast agent is a nano—droplet, on which the dye indocyanine green and particles of iron oxide – magnetite are applied by layer-by-layer deposition from a solution. In the future, the substance can become the basis for the diagnosis and treatment of brain diseases.

- Skoltech researchers have linked cellular structures in the mountains on Mars with the evaporation of salt water
Calculations carried out by scientists have shown that both water and salt crystals, which accumulate inside microcracks in rocks, are involved in the formation of “honeycombs” on Mars and on Earth. The study is published in the journal Geosciences.
