    • ROS Chief Designer: creation of a national orbital station is a priority state task

    • Russians have created a full-fledged domestic Android platform

     

    The Russian mobile operating system “Red OS M” is included in the register of domestic software. Now devices with this OS can participate in public procurement. The system is fully compatible with Android applications. The number of users can reach 50 million, including foreign users.

    • A national project for the development of the space will appear in Russia

     

    President Putin announced plans to create such a project. He instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to develop a political instrument for the development of the space sector by July 1, 2024. The main goal of the national space project is to increase the orbital grouping of the country, as well as to provide benefits for employees of the space industry

    • The state can provide risk hedging to investors of megaprojects

     

    The authorities are discussing securing a minimum guaranteed income for investors in megaprojects for import substitution of technologies unavailable due to sanctions. It is assumed that such a measure will allow you to recoup your investments. It was also previously reported about the consolidation of the “right to risk” in such projects for investors – in case of failure, they will not be held accountable.

    • In Russia, the winners of the award “For loyalty to Science” were announced

     

    The prize is awarded annually for outstanding achievements in the field of scientific communication, popularization of science and support of the prestige of scientists and engineers in the Russian Federation. The winner in the nomination was the staff of the Museum “Biotech” of the Federal Research Center of Biotechnology of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Among the laureates is the communication platform for scientists CoLab.ws and the Association of Floating Universities.
