- Rosatom has started developing a technology for generating electricity from hydrogen
The new domestic technology is especially relevant for remote areas located in harsh natural and climatic conditions. Upon completion of R&D and a full test cycle, small-scale production of fuel cells is planned (approximately by 2025).

- Nauka 0+ festival will be held in China, Russian scientists will present their developments
The event will be held at a joint university of Moscow State University-PPI (Moscow State University – Beijing Polytechnic Institute). Thematic blocks are expected: “Natural Sciences”, “Space”, “Artificial Intelligence” and “Culture and Art”, which will be attended by specialists from the institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow State University, Roscosmos, Skoltech.

- Rosatom plans to build 12 power units in Russia by 2035
Alexander Shutikov, CEO of Rosenergoatom, told about the relevant plans of the corporation, including in the Far East. Rosenergoatom currently includes 11 operating nuclear power plants. In total, 37 nuclear power units with a total installed capacity of over 29.5 GW are in operation.

- In Russia, the status change of the masters degree being discussed by the Government
According to the address of the President of Russia, the magistracy should take a new place in the system of higher education, while not replacing other levels of education. According to the Ministry of Education and Science, based on the name “specialized higher education”, the master’s degree should deepen the basic level.

- The Russian SSJ-100 aircraft ran the PD-8 engine for the first time
The PD-8 turbofan engine (SJ-100) began development in 2021. It is planned to be used as part of import substitution on Sukhoi Superjet 100 and Sukhoi Superjet New aircraft.
