- Regular cargo transportation in unmanned mode on a public highway has started in Russia
On October 4, 2023, an unmanned StarLine tractor in stormy weather carried cargo along the M11 Neva highway, there were more than 10 tons of cargo in the trailer of the drone. It was the 7th unmanned flight between St. Petersburg and Moscow.

- In Russia, in 2023, a quantum computer will be created on 12 superconducting qubits
Dmitry Chermoshentsev, senior researcher at the Russian Quantum Center, announced the completion of the development of such a technology. He also expressed hope that Russian physicists will be able to implement all the key provisions of the first part of the roadmap for the development of quantum computing in 2024.

- The Russian government will allocate about 4 billion rubles for priority R&D
2.5 billion rubles will be spent on research to create ultra–high-resolution Earth remote sensing satellites, Prime Minister Mishustin said. Also, about 1.2 billion rubles will be additionally allocated to support developments related to artificial intelligence. Of these, over 800 million rubles are provided for grants to small enterprises.

The power plant is an electrochemical generator that generates energy from hydrogen. The catamaran became the first Russian prototype vessel powered by hydrogen. The tests took place in the waters of the Neva River in the Leningrad region.
