  • The Arctic Scientific and Educational Center has created a synthesis chamber for a marine hydrogen engine

 

In Arkhangelsk, the main element of a hydrogen engine for water transport has been developed – a special cellular structure on which the synthesis reaction takes place with the release of energy. Laser and additive technologies have been used for the development, which allowed to create objects using layered addition of material based on a 3D computer model.

  • Russia has taken a step towards electronic brain simulation

 

Lobachevsky University scientists have proposed a method for controlling the dynamics of neural networks. According to them, for the first time in the world they managed to simulate one of the key information processes of the brain using a model of special electronic devices called memristors. The results are published in the journal Mathematics.

  • The Ministry for Digital Development has proposed two options for depersonalizing personal data

 

Companies that operate personal data will be able to depersonalize their customers’ data on their own or transfer them to the Ministry for Digital Development in their original form. The concept of creating a National Data Management System was approved by the Government back in 2019, but a decision on whether a business should transfer already depersonalized data or in its original form has not yet been made.

  • Russia and Vietnam expand cooperation in the field of education, science and technology

 

The fourth meeting of the Russian-Vietnamese Commission for Cooperation in Education, Science and Technology was held in Hanoi. The delegations of the two countries discussed cooperation on joint scientific research, training for the Vietnamese economy, as well as the promotion and study of Russian and Vietnamese languages.
