- In Russia “Tinder for scientists” is being developed
Such a product will be designed to solve the problem of finding research collaborators and research supervisors for students. The system will work on the basis of bibliometric data – to evaluate the publications of scientists according to different criteria. Based on this, users will be able to find information about people conducting similar research.

- A project of mobile small-sized plasma waste treatment plants has been developed in Russia
A small-sized plasma waste recycling plant with a capacity of 5-7 thousand tons was designed by scientists of the Kurchatov Complex of Nuclear Transport Energy Technologies based on technology that was created at the Kurchatov Institute back in the 1990s and successfully tested. The technology involves the use of extremely high temperatures for waste disposal.

- Russia is developing a technology for monitoring UAVs in case of electromagnetic interference
A laboratory for modeling radioelectronic devices for various purposes has been opened at Sakhalin State University. In particular, scientists are currently working on a mathematical apparatus for monitoring drones in conditions of strong electromagnetic interference.

- Skolkovo doubled its resident revenue plan for 2024-2025
The volume of extra-budgetary investments in Skolkovo participants was set at 50 billion and 60 billion rubles instead of the previously approved plan at 25.7 billion and 29 billion rubles, respectively. An analysis of the results of the KPIs for residents’ revenue and attracted investments for previous periods and three quarters of 2023 showed over-fulfillment of target values and exceeding the limit value of 120%

- Scientific foundations of Russia and Iran have summed up the results of the first joint grant competition
The Russian Science Foundation (RNF) and the Iranian National Science Foundation (INSF) have summed up the results of the first joint competition in the field of international research projects, in which 15 projects of Russian and Iranian scientists received the support of foundations. Joint research by Russian and Iranian scientists lies in the field of photonics, the study of biodiversity and the environmental situation in the Caspian Sea, as well as medicine – the study of the mechanisms of obesity and Alzheimer’s disease
