- More than 40 African countries will join the science development consortium with Russia
Over 40 African countries will join the Russian-African Consortium of Higher Technical Educational Institutions, which implies the development and coordination of cooperation between the parties in the field of education and science, as well as the promotion of sustainable development of the production and mining industries. This was announced by Rector of St. Petersburg Mining University Vladimir Litvinenko at the international congress “Africa is looking for solutions”.

- Russia has developed a new technology for creating flexible electronics
Tomsk Polytechnic University scientists, as part of an international research team, have developed a method for creating conductive patterns on the surfaces of various plastic polymers of flexible electronics. According to the authors, this technology will allow the creation of composite materials on an organic basis with the addition of reduced graphene oxide to increase conductivity. The results are presented in the scientific journal Polymers.
