  • A highly efficient “all-weather” solar battery has been created in Russia

 

The staff of the Laboratory of Advanced Solar Energy at MISIS University has developed the first industrial sample of a portable solar battery based on a hybrid form of perovskites. The development is a set of several perovskite photomodules with dimensions of 100 by 100 mm, is highly efficient in low-light conditions

  • Russia has overcome the trend of reducing the number of scientists, Deputy Prime Minister Chernyshenko said

 

According to the Deputy Prime Minister, measures to provide state support for R&D conducted within the framework of the Decade of Science and Technology in the Russian Federation have made it possible to overcome the trend towards reducing the number of specialists in this field. This was said regarding the outflow of specialists from the field of science.

  • The first hardware and software complex based on Baikal-S and Baikal-M processors has been released in Russia

 

The complex consists of a server with a board on the Baikal-S processor, which acts as a fast data storage system. It also includes a Datateka storage system with a Baikal-M processor board, which acts as a slow storage system (cold data storage). The Ivanovna solution of the Smart Archive company is used as software, it follows from the company’s product presentations.
