1. RAS has told about expectations from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. The creation of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education in Russia is necessary to ensure Russia's technological breakthrough and fulfillment of the tasks set by the new "May" decree of the Russian President, said Alexei Khokhlov, Vice President of the Russian Academy of Sciences.



2. Scientists from the Institute of Automation and Electrometry of the SB RAS within the framework of the RSF project have developed new schemes of fiber lasers working on the effect of stimulated Raman scattering of light in multimode optical fibers.



3. The Irkutsk Scientific Center of the SB RAS and the Irkutsk National Research Technical University have concluded a cooperation agreement, within which they would continue implementing joint projects and launch a number of new ones.



4. At the meeting of the international subcommittee on the standardization of the Internet of Things in Berlin, it was decided that the next stage of work on the relevant international standards will be held in Russia.



5. Famous mathematician, chairman of the European Research Council (ERC) Jean-Pierre Bourguignon has visited Skoltech on Monday, where he delivered a lecture to students, and also shared with Skoltech researchers valuable information on how to obtain a prestigious European grant.



6. Russian scientific organizations intend to participate in a joint project with the United States, Europe and China on the establishment in China of an international rehabilitation center for astronauts and other infrastructure related to the development of space medicine and biology.
