1. Between March 2018 and March 2019, three contests will be held in the Russian Federation related to rocket and space issues and interdisciplinary projects: "Sputnik of my school", All-Russian competition among school teams for the development of on-board systems of small space vehicles and the All-Russian competition among school teams for the development of prototypes of space systems, devices and apparatus.

2. The Interdepartmental Council on awarding prizes of the Government of the Russian Federation in the field of science and technology invites to discuss the works submitted for the competition.

3. Scientific institutes subordinate to the FAO of Russia create a national system for monitoring and forecasting floods and mapping the hydrological situation called "Prostor." It is developed by the St. Petersburg Institute of Informatics and Automation of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Institute of Water Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Colleagues from Moscow State University by M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University also take part in this project.



4. President V. Putin was told about the opening of new islands in the Russian Arctic due to the melting of glaciers. Vladimir Putin supported the idea of calling "Crystal" one of the new islands of the Novaya Zemlya archipelago.



5. On April 27 the final accelerator of technological startups GenerationS from RVC has taken place in the multimedia space Tesla Place in Moscow. Three winners divided the Grand Prix into 16 million rubles, and 20 final teams received prizes from the partners of the accelerator.



6. The concept of thorium-uranium-plutonium fuel cycle from FSUE RFNC – VNIIEF (Rosatom) has received the second prize of the International Competition of Scientific Developments.
