1. At April 10th in the Tomsk with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia held a space lesson on the topic "Space exploration”. Space lessons with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia are organized and conducted by the administration of the Tomsk region and the state corporation Roskosmos. Russian cosmonauts-testers from the International Space Station Shkaplerov and Artemiev answered the questions of the participants.

2. On 11 April, an international strategic forum on intellectual property “IPQuorum 2018” was opened in Svetlogorsk, Kaliningrad region. Forum was held under the patronage of the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO. The forum brought together about 500 representatives from more than 30 countries. Deputy Minister of Science of the Russian Federation Zenkovich noted that one of the key tasks of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia is the development of services for the registration of intellectual property that will allow to quickly find the necessary objects of intellectual property, negotiate with rights holders and implement technologies as soon as possible.

3. A global map of space monitoring is planned to be created in Russia. This map can work in the interests of all regions, all ministries. Such systems, in particular, help to monitor changes in weather conditions, track forest fires, floods, etc.

4. April 12, 2018, Russian competition of scientific and creative projects for the development of the Earth satellite "The Moon: the city of the first" was launched. The competition was organized within the help of the VIII Russian Science Festival "NAUKA 0+" with the support of the State Corporation "Roskosmos", the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and The Moscow State University. The makers of the contest offer, schoolchildren and students to show their vision of the first space lunar station in one of the proposed visual formats: a drawing using any technology; design project in the form of a blueprint that indicates the size and scale, or in the form of a 3D model in the format STL, 3DS. The winner of the competition will go to the cosmodrome “Baikonur”.

5. Skolkovo hosted the first conference in Russia devoted to creating artificial internal organs in space and accompanied by a videoconference with the astronauts from International space station. Taking into account the fact that the creation of new internal organs and tissues is hard not only on Earth, but also in space, speech at the symposium was about the whole complex of medical and biological experiments conducted on the ISS.

6. The construction of the synchrotron in the Far East region of Russia will take five years, said Alexander Sergeev, president of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The day before, Russian President Vladimir Putin during his visit to the research center "Kurchatov Institute" supported the idea of ​​building a synchrotron on “Russky” Island in Vladivostok. Synchrotron radiation is used in many scientific fields: from the study of the structure of materials to the study of new pharmaceuticals and the therapy of cancer cells.
