1.Specialists from the St. Petersburg Polytechnic University Peter the Great - a university-participant of Project 5-100, have developed a unique device for complex water purification that could replace the process of disinfection with chlorine. The device is an electrolysis aggregate using an innovative reagent of sodium ferrate.

2. Russian scientists have been improving the diagnosis of hereditary genetic diseases. Scientists of the Medical Genetics Research Center, subordinate to the Russian Academy of Sciences, developed a clinical exome for 6,300 genes. Today, this is the most complete exome, proposed by Russian experts.

3. Scientists from the MSTU and the Physical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences have been developing an ultra-precise laser clock. It is assumed that they will find application in modern radio engineering systems (GLONASS, communication equipment and radar, etc.). The new device will determine the time 10 times more accurately than the existing reference meters - this will, in particular, improve the quality of geolocation.

5. In the State Corporation Rosatom, within the framework of the Fuel Division, a specialized company, Rusatom-Additive Technologies has been created.

6.  The Ministry of Health of Russia is ready to attract Russian scientists with world-wide names from abroad to new research centers in various fields of medicine that are being created in the Russian Federation.
