1. Students and post-graduate students of universities can receive scholarships from the President of Russia to study abroad. The annual all-Russian opened competition for scholarships was launched. The purpose of the competition is to determine the list of persons who will be sent abroad for training at the expense of the federal budget.



2.  Siberian scientists have found a new way to study water molecules. Employees of the Institute of Automation and Electrometry of the SB RAS and the Institute of High Current Electronics of the SB RAS, subordinated to the Russian Academy of Sciences, studied water molecules using broadband terahertz spectroscopy.



3. On February 6, 2018, speaking at the festive meeting of the Presidium of the Scientific and Technical Council of Rosatom State Corporation, dedicated to the Day of Russian Science, Rosatom Director General Alexei Likhachev announced 2018 the Year of Science in the Nuclear Industry.



4.  On February 6, 2018, Director General of the Roscosmos state corporation Igor Komarov and the management of the enterprises of the rocket and space industry visited the enterprises of Roscosmos - the Design Bureau of Chemical Automatics and the Voronezh Mechanical Factory.



5. 270 startups of early stages will pass the predator GenerationS. Within the three months participants will have to take an educational course on key topics of technological entrepreneurship, study the basics of managing finances and the team.



6. The Russian President's administration was instructed to work out proposals to increase the authority of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences and change its legal status.
