1. A team of scientists from MIPT and MISIS has developed and tested a new platform for the implementation of superstrong photon-magnon coupling. The system was made from thin-film heterostructures on a silicon crystal.

2. Scientists of Tomsk Polytechnic University together with colleagues have synthesized a unique molecule of verdazyl-nitroxyl triradical. Only a few research groups in the world were able to obtain molecules with similar properties. The molecule is stable, can withstand high temperatures and has promising magnetic properties.

3. Scientists from the IT SB RAS have developed a method for neutralizing waste from the Baikal Pulp and Paper Mill by oxidizing them in supercritical water. Oxidation of toxic organic waste in water at parameters above its critical point (Tc = 374оС, Pc = 22.1 MPa) is considered as the most effective and environmentally friendly way of their neutralization.

4. Scientists of the Novosibirsk State Technical University NETI have created and patented a technology to reduce the time of oil purification from water immediately after production at the field. The technology is based on the crossing of electric and magnetic fields. The patented technology can also be used for wastewater treatment from oily impurities.

5. The material that protects lithium-ion batteries from loss of charge at low temperatures was created by scientists from the National Research University MIET(NRU MIET) together with specialists from the Institute of Physical Chemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences. A.N. Frumkin. According to them, the use of germanium nanocrystal anodes will make it possible to achieve unprecedented "frost resistance" of batteries.
