1. Scientists of the National Research Center Kurchatov Institute as part of a research group have proposed a new method for producing terbium-152, one of the most promising isotopes for cancer diagnostics. Previously, it could only be produced in a sophisticated facility at CERN. The new method is simpler and much cheaper. A conventional cyclotron is suitable for it, and in one session it is possible to obtain terbium-152 in an amount sufficient for administration to dozens of patients.

2. A team of scientists from the NUST MISIS laboratory ‘Inorganic Nanomaterials‘ together with colleagues from the State Scientific Center for Applied Microbiology and Biotechnology and the Institute of Biochemistry named after Bach developed nanoparticles based on hexagonal boron nitride(h-BN), doped with silver particles and various antibiotics, which showed high bactericidal and antifungal activity. Laboratory tests have shown that the materials obtained are effective at concentrations 6-7 times lower than conventional antibiotics.

3. The technology company SberAutoTech, part of the Sber ecosystem, has developed and presented a prototype of a fully autonomous electric vehicle called FLIP. Now the development is undergoing final tests in a closed area - by the way, they comply with the legislation for fully autonomous vehicles.

5. An international team of scientists has obtained two-component polymer microparticles that change their size depending on temperature and solvent. Physicists have determined the internal structure of microspheres under different conditions by comparing experimental results and computer simulation data. Such systems can be used for the delivery and gradual release of drugs, as well as for carrying out chemical reactions in microvolumes and at the interface of liquids.
