1. In the summer of 2021, two floating universities will go to the Arctic on the research vessels of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia: Moscow State University and the joint Floating University of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology and the Institute of Oceanology of the Russian Academy of Sciences named after V.I. P.P. Shirshova. The expeditions are timed to coincide with the Year of Science and Technology in Russia, as well as the chairmanship of the Russian Federation in the Arctic Council.

2. Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko announced the creation of a consortium of educational organizations, which the Ministry of Digital Industry will form together with the Innopolis University. According to the organizers, the consortium will unify and standardize approaches to training personnel for the digital economy, as well as form educational modules on digital competencies for teachers and students.

3. Employees of the Center for Immunology and Cellular Biotechnology of the Baltic Federal University have studied the biological properties of calcium phosphate(CP) coatings. Kaliningrad scientists, in turn, studied the reaction of stem cells to these films in vitro. As a result, it turned out that the most suitable composition of the CF coating for bioengineering of bone tissue at the molecular level is formed in an atmosphere of xenon and, to a lesser extent, argon.

4. Scientists from the Far Eastern Federal University(FEFU) and the Institute of Chemistry of the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences(FEB RAS) have developed a new material based on europium ions(Eu III) with light antennas. It strongly absorbs and emits light, and can form the basis of other compounds. Some of them can be used to increase the efficiency of solar panels, others can be used in the form of additives to solid materials to visually observe the places of the greatest stress of the material under loads.

5. Thirty-six OneWeb spacecraft have been delivered to the Vostochny Cosmodrome in the Amur Region to prepare for the launch, which will take place in May, the press service of Roscosmos reported on Friday.
