1. Far Eastern scientists have created a material based on europium ions(Eu III) with special molecules that absorb and emit light. The material can be used to increase the efficiency of solar panels, create additives for solid materials and visualize defects.



2. The project of a device for automatic histological analysis was created by specialists of the Perm Polytechnic Institute. The development will make it possible to quickly identify cellular pathologies, including oncopathology, in humans and animals. In the future, the actions that are now being performed by several technicians, the apparatus will be able to produce faster and cheaper. Researchers conducted a series of experiments that showed an accuracy of disease recognition of up to 92%.



3. Valery Falkov, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, opened the genomic center of the All-Russian Research Institute of Agricultural Biotechnology(VNIISB). It is one of the main research centers in the field of plant genetic technologies, also a part of the consortium of the Kurchatov Genome Center. Among the main directions of the institute are marker and genomic plant breeding, genomic editing.



4. The leader of the Russian market of medical information systems, RT Medical Information Systems(RT MIS, part of the Rostelecom group of companies) and the resident of the Skolkovo Foundation, K-Sky, signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence. The parties agreed on a technological partnership and completed the seamless integration of the unified digital platform (EDS. MIS) from RT MIS and the predictive analytics and risk management platform Webiomed from K-Sky.



5. A group of scientists of the Ural Federal University(UrFU, Yekaterinburg) has developed a technology for processing liquid waste from the extraction of potash fertilizers. It is universal, suitable for almost any industrial enterprise; allows you to clean industrial wastewater - remove insoluble components from the solution and reduce the volume of salt in the water. Wastewater treatment using this technology takes place in two stages. The first one is preliminary cleaning of solutions from suspended particles of rocks, and the second is electrodialysis.
