1. Scientists of the Samara National Research University developed a training simulator for drone operators using virtual reality capabilities. They have prepared applications for two patents – one for the construction of a cube that houses the drone, and the other for software - a drone flight simulator.

3. Scientists have proposed a new way to control the polarization of terahertz radiation. It is simpler in comparison with analogs, since it requires relatively weak magnetic fields and normal temperature conditions. Controlling terahertz radiation will help develop new high-speed communication technologies: increase information transfer rates for 6G Wi-Fi and develop cognitive radio networks that can customize their own parameters.

4. Scientists of the Perm Polytechnic University have developed a prototype of an ultralight and eco-friendly electric motorcycle. The uniqueness of the ecobike is that for the first time in Russia it will be equipped with a supercapacitor, which increases the resource of the vehicle. So far, such devices are used only by a few large enterprises for the production of electric vehicles.

5. The Progress MS-16 cargo vehicle, which was launched from the Baikonur cosmodrome, flew to the ISS according to a two-day scheme. Docking with the station is scheduled for February 17. The ship carries 2.5 tons of cargo to the station, including a repair kit to seal the crack at the station. It consists of a set of adhesive bonded reinforcements.
