1. Scientists of the Southern Federal University together with the Kabardino-Balkarian Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences and Sevkavrentgen-D LLC are developing a multifunctional X-ray complex with the function of digital multislice tomosynthesis. This is a high-tech device for carrying out X-ray studies in medicine, while cheaper than foreign analogues by 30-40%.



2. From 23 to 26 November 2020, the Sixth Interdisciplinary Scientific Forum with international participation "New Materials and Advanced Technologies" will be held online on the Zoom platform. The purpose of the forum is to form new successful scientific groups, attract young specialists to research and development, develop cooperation between Russian and international research organizations, representatives of government authorities, industry, business, and the media.



3. Skolkovo resident and Rostelecom will digitize the waste management industry through joint projects from 2021, participating in the implementation of the national project "Ecology" and the national program "Digital Economy".



4. Scientists at ITMO University and the University of Toronto have created a material made from gelatin and cellulose that can fight antibiotic-resistant bacteria and speed up the healing process. In the future, it may become the basis for gel wound-healing dressings.



5. Employees of the North Caucasus Federal University(NCFU) have proposed a new model of data processing on the Internet of Things, which will ensure their reliability and security, and will also increase the speed of encoding and decoding information for low-power devices - phones, laptops and others by an order of magnitude. This will significantly increase the speed of information transformation in the Internet of Things.
