1. The Ufa State Aviation Technical University has developed four types of a ball flowmeter for accurate measurement of the flow rate of conductive and fire-explosive liquids and each received a patent for an invention. The flow of liquid, passing through the device, sets in motion a ball, the speed and frequency of rotation of which make it possible to measure the flow rate of the liquid.



2. Skolkovo Foundation conducts the first online softlanding program. This made it possible to reach an even larger number of participants from various regions - almost 40 companies from 16 countries. In the current recruitment, 11 Korean companies, 2 companies from Singapore and 4 companies from Uzbekistan are represented with their assistance. Also Skolkovo selected 6 Serbian and 3 Hungarian companies.



3. Scientists have proposed using electrochemical alloying to improve the properties of transparent carbon nanotube conductors. Doping of SWCNTs makes it possible not only to significantly increase the conductivity of the film by eliminating Schottky barriers between tubes of different nature, but also to increase the concentration of charge carriers in the tubes. In addition, as a result of doping, optical transitions are suppressed and, as a consequence, the transmission coefficient increases.



4. Russian researchers have presented a new, non-invasive way to observe nanoparticles in the bloodstream at high temporal resolution. The method will make it possible to create more effective nanoagents for biomedicine. In the experiment, the researchers placed the tail of animals, mice or rabbits, into the magnetic coil of the device, then injected particles into the blood and observed the change in their concentration in the tail veins and arteries.



5. Chemists from the A. V. Topchiev Institute of Petrochemical Synthesis of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Moscow) investigated what compositions and structures of polynorbornenes make them optimal dielectrics. For the experiment, the scientists synthesized eight different polymers using their own methods. Half of them consist mainly of carbon, hydrogen and silicon atoms(the latter is included in the polymer chain as part of side substituents), and the other group of polymers contains fluorine.
