1. Scientists at ITMO University have created an ultrafast router for data transmission in the 6G standard. According to the developers, when it is used, the speed of sending data at medium and small distances can increase by two to three orders of magnitude.

2. Researchers from the North Caucasus Federal University have come up with a new approach to optimizing complex calculations using parallel arithmetic. The results will help increase the speed of intelligent systems with less hardware resources. Another important advantage of this approach compared to traditional methods is that it can significantly reduce the size of the computing device. This, in turn, leads to lower power consumption and device costs.

3. Scientists from the Institute of Theoretical and Experimental Biophysics of the Russian Academy of Sciences have analyzed the stability of polymer containers with protein incorporated in them. As a result, the researchers selected the optimal conditions under which the microcapsules are stable for a long time. The degree of protein loss was highly dependent on the ionic strength of the solution and pH.

4. Scientists at Tomsk Polytechnic University have created reagent kits for a technetium-99m generator based on glucose derivatives. They allow you to quickly and easily prepare a high-quality radiopharmaceutical for the early diagnosis of malignant neoplasms.

5. At the initiative of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science, at the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry named after Academicians M.M. Shemyakina and Yu.A. Ovchinnikov RAS created four versions of test systems for the detection of antibodies against SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. These test systems are able to detect antibodies of three different classes at once in human serum or plasma (IgM, IgG, IgA), which significantly increases the specificity of the tests. Specificity reflects the proportion of negative results that are correctly identified as negative, that is, the likelihood that non-sick subjects will be classified as not sick.
