1. The Perm Polytechnic University proposed the fastest and most economical method of creating parts from titanium alloy. 2. Scientists from the King Abdullah Scientific and Technological University and the International Tomographic Center of the SB RAS have proposed a new photocatalyst for splitting water based on an organometallic framework. These compounds consist of metal ions interconnected by organic groups.

Researchers at MIPT, together with Russian colleagues, came up with a method for determining the concentration of GD2 ganglioside, which is actively produced in cancer cells and is used as a target for anti-cancer therapy. Ganglioside GD2 is a complex non-protein molecule that is present in large numbers on the surface of many cancer cells. Healthy cells are able to produce only small amounts of these molecules, so GD2 can be used for targeted immunotherapy.

5. Scientists at Tyumen State University and the Earth Cryosphere Institute at the Tyumen Scientific Center of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences have developed a new theoretical model for the formation of gas hydrates in “dry water” and have confirmed it experimentally. An experimental verification of the diffusion model was performed on a high-pressure reactor created at the Institute of Cryosphere of the Tyumen Scientific Center of the SB RAS.
