1. The Russian scientists were able to synthesize a new superconducting material – thorium hydride ThH10 with a very high critical temperature (161 K). Scientists from the Institute of Crystallography of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Skoltech, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology and the Lebedev Physical Institute managed to obtain this substance and to study its transport properties and superconductivity.

2. Russian researchers have successfully tested the RED-100 portable neutrino radiation sensor in the laboratory and are now planning to continue testing the device at the Kalinin NPP. The detector is intended for remote monitoring of processes in reactors of nuclear power plants. With the help of such sensor it is possible to remotely monitor the state of the reactor, conduct its isotopic analysis, predict emergency situations and even prevent the development of nuclear weapons.

3. The Technical Committee «Cyber-Physical Systems» on the basis of RVC will be organizing the international conference «Regulation of Digital Technologies», which will be held on November 20, 2019 in St. Petersburg. The key topics of the conference will be the state of national and international regulation of digital technologies, priorities of the government policy and support of technological development with standardization tools as well as business participation in normative-technical regulation.
