1. At the Russian Ministry of Education and Science, chaired by the First Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Grigory Trubnikov, a meeting of the Interdepartmental Council on awarding prizes of the Government of the Russian Federation in the field of science and technology was held.

Khetagurov intend to create a guide to the genetics of crops common in the North Caucasus, Gennady Kachmazov, head of the laboratory of food microbiology and biotechnology of the university, told TASS. According to researchers, in the North Caucasus there is a lot of unexplored biological material that can contribute to the development of pharmacology and the food industry.



3. Roscosmos intends to conclude a contract for the development of new high-temperature composite materials for rocket and space technology. For these purposes, the state corporation plans to spend 436.45 million rubles, according to documents on the website of public procurement.



4. MSTU named after N. E. Bauman in conjunction with the Physics Institute. P.N. Lebedev developed the nanosatellites of the Yarilo project for studying the Sun. They plan to launch into orbit in 2020, TASS was told in the Youth Space Center of MSTU.



5. The fifth anniversary of Eastern Economic Forum(WEF-2019) takes place in Vladivostok from September 4 to 6. The work program of the President of the Russian Academy of Sciences began with the lecture “Periodic Table of Elements: the universal language of science from space to new materials” in the lecture hall of the WEF youth platform.



6. Scientists from the Altai State University and the Institute of Computational Modeling of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences have completed the first stage of work on a unique project to study the processes of heat and mass transfer and dynamics of phenomena in multiphase systems, the AltSU Information and Media Communications Department reports.
