1. During the working meeting of the Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of Russia, Marina Borovskaya, and the Director General of the Foundation, Andrey Grigoriev, the participants discussed issues of interaction between Advanced Research Foundation and the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, as well as familiarized themselves with the research and development topics of the foundation.

4. The Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) for the first time entered the subject rankings of the best universities in the world according to the authoritative British publication Times Higher Education (THE). At the end of 2018, FEFU occupies a position in the range of 601-800 in the field of Physical Sciences (THE Physical Sciences Subject Ranking) and is in the 601+ group in the field of Life Sciences (THE Life Sciences Subject Ranking).

5. Skolkovo becomes a testing ground for innovative transport solutions. In December, Skolkovo plans to fly into the sky the prototype of the first domestic air taxi from the company Bartini Design.

6. The Chepetsky Mechanical Plant (AO ChMZ, a member of TVEL's Rosatom Fuel Company) has begun to manufacture pilot samples of superconducting wires for the world's largest particle accelerator, the Future Circular Collider (FCC). The work is carried out in the framework of the Agreement on R & D between TVEL JSC and the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN).
