1. Prospects for the development of additive technologies and joint cooperation in this area were discussed by Russian nuclear scientists and French specialists during a special seminar in Moscow, the Rosatom press service reported on Tuesday.

5. Russian physicists have developed a method of radically narrowing the emission spectrum of conventional diode lasers, known from laser pointers. This will allow to use them instead of expensive and complex single-frequency laser devices, as well as to create compact chemical analyzers that can fit in a smartphone, cheap lidars, and many other areas. The research results are published in the journal Nature Photonics.
